Our courses will covers elements of the Kennel Club Accreditation of Instructors Scheme and are a combination of practical and theory.
The aim of the instructor’s courses is to promote and maintain a high standard of instructing, but at the same time making the course educational and enjoyable.
Aimed at those who wish to become dog instructors, those with a little experience and those who wish to improve and enhance their instructing skills.

We run bespoke instructor’s courses at your training club, or these can be arranged at our venue.

These bespoke courses are aimed at clubs, organisations and societies and the contents will be adapted to suit each club’s requirements.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Class planning; class control; communication skills; breakdown of exercises; prevention & correction of faults; motivation of dogs and handlers; common problems faced by instructors, as well as health, safety, care, welfare & legal responsibilities.

Everyone gets a chance of taking part in instructing a class if they wish, but there is no pressure to participate

This is an instructor’s course, not a dog handler’s course, therefore, if you participate with your dog, it’s not the standard of the dog we are looking at.

Advanced instructors courses

Sat 18th and Sun.19th October
