Class planning; class control; communication skills; breakdown of exercises; prevention & correction of faults; motivation of dogs and handlers; common problems faced by instructors, as well as health, safety, care, welfare & legal responsibilities. Everyone gets a chance of taking part in instructing a class if they wish, but there is no pressure to participate
This is an instructor’s course, not a dog handler’s course, therefore, if you participate with your dog, it’s not the standard of the dog we are looking at. |
